Consultants

1. Jeanette Smith is a former viticulture extension agent and commercial grape grower now living and tending her own vineyard in Northern Virginia. Jeanette has extensive east coast experience growing wine grapes and should be considered a very reliable source of information for new and experienced growers. Call her at 540 822-5976.

2. Nelson Stewart is a grower in southern York County with a five acre vineyard. He is currently available to share his knowledge and experience with new vineyard owners. 717 993-5077.

3. Todd Mason has been making visits from his home in Ontario for many years. He is a nutrition and soils specialist who has been involved with a number of PA vineyards. He comes to Pennsylvania a few times a year. 905 332-8480.

4. Lucie Morton has a world wide reputation as a free lance viticulturist and author. She has broad viticultural knowledge and specializes in rootstocks, variety identification and vascular pathogens. She lives in Virginia. 540 347-5262.

4. Hermann Wiemer Nursery is a long time supplier of grapevine material to growers in New York. Call 607 243-797.
